DeepSeek Harness provides plugin-based extensibility. In Agent development, ordinary chat logs cannot reliably tell the model which steps are effective under which conditions, nor can they record which operations were approved by whom. Vector search can find similar text, but similarity alone is insufficient to authorize reusing a process.

dsh-experience-map is designed to address these problems. It transforms completed session evidence into structured, versioned Experiences, checks their applicability before reuse, and asks the user to approve a specific reuse plan.

Installation and Activation

This plugin is published on npm under the package name dsh-experience-map.

Environment Requirements:
* DeepSeek Harness: 0.1.5-rc.2
* Node.js: ^22.19.0 or >=24.0.0

Dependency Notes:
* The npm package does not bundle Transformers.js or model weights, nor does it automatically download models.
* An LLM provider is required only when the model needs to propose a Candidate.
* @huggingface/transformers needs to be installed only if the dense-retrieval adapter is explicitly enabled.

Typical Usage

  1. Manual saving of experiences: After completing a task with concrete outputs, open the Experience tab in the conversation. The system lists zero or more suggestions; you can decide whether to save a suggestion as a durable Experience.
  2. Headless operation: Use the management CLI to bulk-manage or query Experiences.

Notes

  • This plugin is integrated into DeepSeek Harness as a plugin and runs under the permissions of the current DSH process. Review the source code and license before installation.
  • Dense retrieval adapters are opt-in features and are not enabled by default.
