Introduction

DeepSeek Harness (DSH) adopts a plugin-based architecture. For DSH instances running under the Web profile, if you need to send instructions directly from an instant messaging (IM) platform (such as Feishu or Slack), manual polling or writing a custom adapter is inefficient. dsh-wsl-im provides a direct bridging solution.

What This Is

dsh-wsl-im is a plugin for DeepSeek Harness that creates a bridge between IM platforms and DSH. Message flow follows: IM → plugin → ctx.agents → reply.
- Version: 0.3.8
- Owner: 173787247
- License: MIT

Core Features

  • Message flow: Supports injecting IM message streams into ctx.agents to trigger replies.
  • Platform support: Feishu, WeCom, DingTalk, QQ, Slack, Discord, Telegram, and Mattermost.
  • Tools: Provides the im_status tool for checking connection status.

Installation and Enabling

Install the plugin using the official command:

dsh plugin --profile web add github:173787247/dsh-wsl-im

After installation, enable specific adapters via environment variables:

DSH_IM_FEISHU=1
DSH_IM_SLACK=1

Typical Usage

Feishu Dependency

Using Feishu requires installing the Node.js dependency:

npm i @larksuiteoapi/node-sdk

Mock Testing Mode

Test the message flow without configuring real bot credentials:

export DSH_IM_MOCK=1
curl -s http://127.0.0.1:18999/mock -H 'content-type: application/json' -d '{"text":"/status","chatId":"t1"}'

Use Cases and Notes

  • Session model: The plugin registers one workspace for each IM platform (for example, ~/.dsh/im-workspace/{feishu,wecom,...}). Each chat corresponds to a session, rather than one session for the entire platform.
  • Connection management: Each bot maintains one active WebSocket connection.
  • Security: If allowedUserIds is empty, the bot is accessible to everyone. Configure a whitelist before exposing the bot.
  • Platform-specific configuration:
    • WeCom: HTTPS_PROXY/HTTP_PROXY is usually required.
    • Discord: The “Message Content Intent” must be enabled.
    • Telegram: Only long polling via getUpdates is supported.

Conclusion

This plugin provides a standardized integration solution between IM platforms and DSH ctx.agents. Source code and documentation are available on GitHub.
