Introduction

The core philosophy of DeepSeek Harness (DSH) is “Everything is a plugin.” dsh-cubox is a synchronization plugin for Cubox. It uses DSH scheduled tasks and agent tools to automate organizing Cubox collections, generating AI daily briefs, and exporting Markdown.

Plugin Positioning

This plugin is maintained by zhengjy01 and released under the MIT license. It interacts with Cubox through the built-in API extension of DeepSeek Harness, and is mainly used for local caching of collection data, AI summary generation, and syncing flomo notes.

Installation and Activation

Install the plugin from the command line:

dsh plugin --profile web add github:zhengjy01/dsh-cubox

After installation, restart dsh web to load the plugin.

Core Features

  • Scheduled Sync: The plugin maintains a local cache (~/.dsh/dsh-cubox-cache.json) and pulls the latest collections every 60 minutes by default. The interval can be configured in settings; setting it to 0 disables the scheduled task.
  • AI Daily Brief: Custom Prompt Templates are supported. After configuring an LLM Key, each sync generates a brief based on the list generated from the {collection} placeholder and writes it to an Obsidian-style Markdown file (e.g., 今日收藏简报-YYYY-MM-DD.md).
  • Markdown Export: The output directory can be configured. You can enable the exportCards option to export single-card Markdown files containing Frontmatter, title, description, links, and annotations; when disabled, only the AI brief is exported.
  • Card Query: The cubox_cards tool is provided, supporting collection filtering by keyword, time range, and whether annotated or starred.
  • flomo Annotation Sync: It supports pushing new or changed annotations (highlights and ideas) to flomo. The plugin maintains a local deduplication ledger to avoid duplicate pushes. It supports custom tags and converting ASCII # to full-width #, and can route summaries to flomo, local Markdown, or Notion.

Configuration and Usage

Configuration consists of two steps: obtain the Cubox API link and configure it in DSH.

  1. Enable “API Extension” in Cubox settings and copy the generated unique link (for example, https://cubox.pro/c/api/save/abcd12345).
  2. Paste the link in the DSH settings panel (Settings → Cubox). You can also directly ask the agent in the conversation to perform the configuration:
    帮我配置 Cubox,API 链接是 https://cubox.pro/c/api/save/abcd12345
  1. (Optional) Configure the local export directory, LLM Key (OpenAI-compatible by default; DeepSeek is recommended), and the AI brief template.

Common Tools

The plugin provides the following command tools:

Tool Name Function
cubox_status View connection status and cache status
cubox_config Modify configuration items (API link, sync interval, export directory, LLM settings, etc.)
cubox_sync Manually trigger one sync (default syncs the last 1 day)
cubox_cards Query collection cards, supporting keyword filtering
cubox_flomo Immediately push new annotations to flomo

Notes

  • Permissions and Security: Cubox’s read interface is not a public Open API; it is accessed through internal /c/api/cli/* endpoints. The API link and LLM Key are stored in the ~/.dsh/dsh-cubox. file with 0600 file permissions. Leaking these credentials may lead to data leakage or abuse of LLM quota.
  • License: Please check the source code and license (MIT) before use.
