Introduction¶
By default, the DeepSeek Harness (DSH) Web GUI displays the cache hit rate as an integer (for example, 42%). The dsh-cache-hit-decimal plugin intercepts and replaces the stats cell in conversation.composer.dock, rendering it as a value with two decimal places (for example, 42.86%). This plugin is maintained by the community and is not included in the official DeepSeek Harness repository.
Core Features¶
- Numeric formatting: Replaces the integer cache hit rate with a value containing two decimal places.
- UI override: Uses the Shadow DOM principle to override the
statscell underconversation.composer.dock. Removing the plugin restores the native integer display. - Version compatibility: Compatible with DeepSeek Harness 0.1.5-rc.1 and React 18 environments.
- Logic fix: Fixes the issue where values are not rounded up to 100.00 (for example, 99.997% is displayed as 99.99%).
- Build support: Supports building and installing from source code.
Installation and Enablement¶
Run the following command in the terminal to install the plugin:
dsh plugin --profile web add @yuuu0109/dsh-cache-hit-decimal
After installation is complete, restart the dsh web process and refresh the browser for the changes to take effect.
Updates and Building from Source¶
To update the plugin or build it from source, use the following command:
dsh plugin --profile web update @yuuu0109/dsh-cache-hit-decimal
The steps for building and installing from source code are as follows:
- Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/Yuuu0109/dsh-cache-hit-decimal.git - Enter the directory:
cd dsh-cache-hit-decimal - Install dependencies and build:
pnpm install && pnpm build - Install locally:
dsh plugin --profile web add .
Notes¶
- Maintenance ended: This plugin ended maintenance on 2026-09-12. The official DeepSeek Harness client (version 0.1.5-rc.2 and later) has this feature built in, making the plugin unnecessary.
- Environment requirements:
- DeepSeek Harness version: 0.1.5-rc.1 (client 0.1.5-rc.2)
- Node.js version: ^22.19.0 or >=24.0.0
- Package manager: pnpm 11
- Source code location: The plugin source code is hosted on GitHub. You can check
package.jsonfor dependency details.
Summary¶
This plugin is mainly used to view more precise cache hit rate data in specific older versions or development environments. Since the official client now includes this feature and the plugin is no longer maintained, it is recommended to use the official default display method.
