Preface

The philosophy of DeepSeek Harness (DSH) is “everything is a plugin.” When conversations are archived, they are hidden from the sidebar, but DSH does not provide a dedicated Web interface to manage these archived conversations. dsh-archive-manager is a Web interface plugin maintained by Ycet. It adds an “Archive” page to the DSH Web settings window. You can use this page to view, filter, and sort archived conversations, unarchive them to restore them to the sidebar, or delete them permanently.

Core Features

  • Grouped view by workspace: Archived conversations are displayed grouped by their workspace. Conversations that do not belong to any workspace are placed under “(Ungrouped).”
  • Filtering and sorting: You can filter by “All Workspaces,” a specific workspace, or “Ungrouped”; you can sort by conversation name or creation time.
  • Unarchive: Removes the selected conversation from the archive set. It reappears in the corresponding workspace group in the left sidebar.
  • Permanent deletion: Supports deleting a single conversation or “Delete All.” All deletion operations require secondary confirmation. Deletion removes the conversation log files, archive marker, and workspace bookkeeping, and is irreversible.
  • Multilingual UI: Interface text follows the active DSH language (Chinese / English).

Installation and Activation

Before installing, ensure that DSH CLI and pnpm are installed (dsh plugin calls pnpm internally).

Use the following command to install the plugin:

dsh plugin --profile web add github:Ycet/dsh-archive-manager

After installation, restart the DSH Web app to apply the changes.

Usage Steps

  1. Restart the DSH Web app (dsh web) and open http://127.0.0.1:3080.
  2. Click Settings at the bottom of the left sidebar.
  3. Select the Archive page on the left side of the settings window.
  4. Use the filter dropdown in the toolbar to filter by workspace or ungrouped conversations, and use the sort dropdown to adjust the order.
  5. Click the “Delete All” button or the delete action for a single conversation, then click Confirm in the secondary confirmation dialog.

Notes

  • No official API: Because DSH does not provide an official unarchive or delete conversation API, this plugin reads and writes storageDomain (that is, ~/.dsh/storages/workspace.json) directly while strictly preserving its schema structure.
  • Permanent deletion: Deletion removes conversation log files (such as session.jsonl.zstd), the archive marker, and workspace bookkeeping, and is irreversible.
  • Secondary confirmation: All deletion operations (single or all) require secondary confirmation.
  • No configuration required: The plugin requires no environment variables or configuration files and works out of the box.
  • Version compatibility: The plugin depends on DSH 0.1.0–rc.6 or later.
