Introduction¶
The DSH plugin ecosystem typically uses JSON for passing configuration, but TOML is more common when handling certain configuration files or dependencies. This article introduces uckkk/dsh-toml, a tool for converting between TOML and JSON locally.
Plugin Overview¶
The plugin provides conversion between TOML and JSON. It is implemented in pure Node.js, does not depend on the network or external services, and supports Cordis Patch configuration. The plugin is maintained by uckkk and licensed under MIT.
Core Features¶
- TOML ↔ JSON conversion
- Pure Node.js implementation, no network access and no external services
- Supports Cordis Patch configuration
Installation and Enablement¶
Install the plugin using the following command:
dsh plugin add dsh-toml
After installation, you need to configure the dsh.profile.bundles field in the project’s package.json file and add "dsh-toml":
{
"dsh": {
"profile": {
"bundles": [
"dsh-toml"
]
}
}
}
Usage¶
After installation and enabling it in your configuration, you can directly invoke the tools registered by the plugin in a DSH session.
Notes¶
The plugin runs local code with the permissions of the current DSH process. Before installing third-party plugins, be sure to review their source code and license.
Summary¶
This plugin provides local TOML and JSON conversion capabilities for the DSH environment, making it suitable for scenarios that require handling mixed configuration formats. For more information, refer to the plugin directory or the GitHub repository.
