Introduction¶
Under the plugin-based architecture of DeepSeek Harness (DSH), extended capabilities are typically implemented by installing community plugins. When a session needs to retrieve information about a specific region (such as Paris), there is no need to write custom data-fetching logic; you can directly use the pre-registered tools. The dsh-paris-city plugin provides this basic capability.
Plugin Overview¶
This plugin is maintained by uckkk and belongs to the “network tools” category. It mainly addresses how to directly retrieve Paris city information in a DSH environment. The plugin is implemented in pure Node.js and does not rely on network requests, making it suitable for scenarios where static city data needs to be retrieved reliably.
Core Features¶
The plugin registers a tool: city_info. Calling this tool returns information related to Paris. Because it is implemented in pure Node.js, the tool does not depend on external network requests, and its execution speed depends on the local runtime environment.
Installation and Activation¶
In the terminal, run the following command to install the plugin:
dsh plugin add github:uckkk/dsh-paris-city
After installation, the plugin is automatically registered in the current DSH session.
Typical Usage¶
Once installed, simply call the city_info tool registered by the plugin in the session.
Notes¶
- Dependency versions: Running the plugin requires the following dependency requirements:
@deepseek-ai/cordis(^4.0.1)@deepseek-ai/dsh-tools(>=0.1.0-rc.6)
- Permissions and security: The plugin runs with the permissions of the current DSH process. It is recommended to review the source code and license (MIT) before use.
- Applicable scenarios: Suitable for scenarios that require quickly obtaining basic information about Paris during a conversation.
