Introduction¶
In the development of DeepSeek Harness (DSH), agents occasionally need to call basic chemical data. Querying external APIs every time or maintaining JSON manually would increase response latency and maintenance costs. The dsh-nitrogen plugin provides standardized data for nitrogen (Nitrogen) directly locally, making data retrieval lighter.
Plugin Overview¶
dsh-nitrogen is a DSH plugin maintained by uckkk. Its core value is embedding detailed nitrogen element data so that it can be retrieved with simple commands. The plugin belongs to the network tools category and is licensed under the MIT License.
Core Features¶
The plugin provides two main capabilities:
element_info: Returns complete information about the nitrogen element. Includes name, chemical symbol, atomic number, relative atomic mass, category, group, period, state at room temperature, and electron configuration.element_field: Queries a single piece of information about the nitrogen element by field name. This is suitable for retrieving variables in workflows.
Installation and Enabling¶
Add the plugin in a DSH environment:
dsh plugin add github:uckkk/dsh-nitrogen
After installation, the plugin is loaded automatically, and no additional configuration file is required.
Typical Usage¶
Retrieve complete information
Call element_info to get the parameters of the nitrogen element:
// 伪代码示例
const nitrogenData = await ctx.call('element_info');
Retrieve by field
Call element_field to get a specific field, for example the atomic number:
// 伪代码示例
const atomicNumber = await ctx.call('element_field', 'atomic_number');
Application Scenarios and Notes¶
This plugin is suitable for scenarios where nitrogen element data is frequently referenced in agent workflows. Before use, check the dependency versions: it requires @deepseek-ai/cordis ^4.0.1 and @deepseek-ai/dsh-tools >=0.1.0-rc.6.
The plugin is a pure Node implementation and has no network dependencies.
Conclusion¶
With dsh-nitrogen, developers can quickly retrieve standardized fields for nitrogen. For more details, consult the plugin directory or source code.
