Introduction¶
The core philosophy of DeepSeek Harness (DSH) is “everything is a plugin.” When developing or deploying agents, if plugins depend on external networks, they may introduce unnecessary latency or risks in restricted environments. This section introduces a lightweight plugin solution.
What It Is¶
dsh-monaco is a DSH plugin maintained by uckkk. It is a pure Node implementation, and its core feature is no network dependency.
Core Features¶
The plugin mainly provides tool registration capabilities. After installation, it registers the corresponding tools in a session for invocation.
Installation and Activation¶
Install the plugin using the official DSH command:
dsh plugin add github:uckkk/dsh-monaco
After installation, the tools registered by the plugin can be invoked directly in a session.
Use Cases and Precautions¶
Use cases: Running agents in fully offline or intranet environments without introducing network call logic.
Precautions:
1. The plugin runs with the permissions of the current DSH process. Please review the source code and license (MIT) before use.
2. Dependency requirements: @deepseek-ai/cordis (^4.0.1) and @deepseek-ai/dsh-tools (>=0.1.0-rc.6) must be available.
Summary¶
For DSH users who prioritize lightweight design and controllability, dsh-monaco provides a reliable pure local execution solution.
