Introduction¶
DeepSeek Harness (DSH) uses a plugin-based architecture, and extension capabilities require installing external modules. In local data query scenarios, directly calling remote interfaces is often limited by the network environment or may increase latency. The dsh-future-gene-editing plugin provides local data query capabilities, focusing on retrieving entries under “Gene Editing Future”.
What is this¶
This is a DSH plugin maintained by uckkk. Its core functionality is to fetch and query information about “Gene Editing Future” entries. The implementation is based on pure Node.js, does not initiate network requests at runtime, and is suitable for offline environments or environments with high requirements for network stability.
Core features¶
The plugin registers two main tool functions:
1. list_gene: Lists all “Gene Editing Future” entries.
2. get_gene: Queries detailed information for a specified entry by id or name.
Installation and enabling¶
Install the plugin in the DSH environment using the officially provided command. After installation, the plugin registers the corresponding tools in the current session.
dsh plugin add github:uckkk/dsh-future-gene-editing
Typical usage¶
After installation, directly call the tools registered by the plugin in a conversation or script. For example, call list_gene to get the list, or call get_gene to get the details of a specific entry.
Applicable scenarios and notes¶
The plugin is suitable for scenarios that require local, fast-response retrieval of “Gene Editing Future” data.
* Note: The plugin runs with the permissions of the current DSH process. Before use, check the source code and license. The plugin is licensed under the MIT License.
Conclusion¶
The plugin provides a lightweight local data query solution for the DSH ecosystem. For more details, see the project directory or source repository.
