Introduction¶
In the plugin-based development of DeepSeek Harness (DSH), handling backup strategies and storage capacity calculations is a common requirement. The dsh-backup-retention plugin aims to provide developers with a local computation solution that has no network dependency, enabling detailed backup retention results to be obtained through precise parameter input.
Plugin Purpose¶
This plugin is intended for backup capacity planning and is maintained by uckkk. It is a pure Node.js implementation that does not rely on external network requests and belongs to the DSH workflow category. The plugin is released under the MIT license.
Core Features¶
- Backup Capacity Planning: The core feature, used to calculate backup-related capacity requirements.
- Parameter Calculation: Supports precise calculations based on input parameters.
- Result Return: Returns detailed results after the calculation is completed.
Installation and Dependencies¶
To install this plugin, run the following command:
dsh plugin add github:uckkk/dsh-backup-retention
The plugin requires the following peerDependencies to run:
* @deepseek-ai/cordis version >= 4.0.1
* @deepseek-ai/dsh-tools version >= 0.1.0-rc.6
Usage¶
After installation, you can use the tool registered by this plugin directly within a DSH session.
Applicable Scenarios and Notes¶
This plugin is suitable for scenarios that require quick local estimation of backup capacity and retention policies. Because it is implemented purely in Node.js, there is no need to worry about network connectivity issues. Ensure that the environment meets the dependency requirements before use. The plugin runs under the permissions of the current DSH process, and it is recommended to review the source code and license (MIT) before installation.
