DeepSeek Harness (DSH) uses a plugin-based architecture. When developing or debugging agents, tracking token consumption, cache hit rate, and request efficiency is a common requirement. dsh-token-dashboard is a client-side plugin designed to make it easy to view these metrics intuitively in DSH Web.
Plugin Role¶
This is a client-side plugin maintained by tsja2001. It provides a dashboard for viewing cache usage, context pressure, request efficiency, step-by-step details, and cross-session statistics.
Core Features¶
- Current Session Analysis: View token overview, composition, efficiency, and step-by-step diagnostics.
- Request Efficiency: Analyze request performance.
- Step-by-Step Details: Track the model, status, input/output, cache reads/writes, and other details for specific steps.
- Cross-Session Comparison: View summaries, sorting, and token breakdowns for all sessions.
- Local Read-Only: Reads DSH projections directly, without calling external APIs or uploading data.
Installation and Enablement¶
Install the plugin using the official command:
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-token-dashboard
After installation, restart DSH Web. The “Statistics” tab will then appear next to the conversation and trajectory tabs.
Typical Usage¶
- Current Session: In the current session, view token overview, composition, efficiency, and step-by-step diagnostics.
- All Sessions: View summaries, sorting, and cross-session token breakdowns for all sessions.
Applicable Scenarios and Notes¶
- Environment Requirements: Node.js ^22.19.0 or >=24.0.0 is required.
- Compatibility: Do not install it alongside
@deepseek-ai/dsh-client-usage-dashboard, because both provide the same view. - Data Privacy: This is a display-only plugin with no server, database, or telemetry, and it does not provide API balance or monetary costs.
The plugin provides these data views locally. For more details, see: GitHub.
