Introduction¶
DeepSeek Harness (DSH) adopts a plugin-based architecture to enrich application capabilities through extensible components. In scenarios involving interaction between local data and cloud documents, developers often need to call cloud document services directly. dsh-kdocs-connector is a plugin that connects to Kingsoft Docs (WPS personal account). It allows users to complete login and authentication in the browser, and to browse, reference, create, and export personal cloud documents within the Harness environment.
Feature Overview¶
The plugin provides a complete set of capabilities for interacting with Kingsoft Docs.
1. Sign-in and Browsing
Users can sign in through OAuth web login in the browser or by pasting a token. Credentials are securely stored in the system keychain. After signing in, users can browse “My Cloud Docs,” recently accessed items, starred documents, shared documents (received/shared by me), and perform keyword searches.
2. File Operations
It supports opening documents in a browser for online viewing or editing, copying links, downloading files (implemented via browser download links), and referencing documents.
3. Referencing into Chat
This is the plugin’s core interaction mode. Click the “Reference” button for a document in the settings panel. The settings page automatically closes and returns to the chat interface, inserting a marker containing the link into the input box. Users then enter a natural-language instruction (for example, “summarize it for me”), and the model reads the document content using the kdocs_read tool and executes the instruction.
4. Creating Documents and Tools
It supports creating blank online documents (supporting otl, docx, xlsx, ksheet, dbt, pptx, xls, doc, and ppt formats) and folders. The plugin provides multiple model tools, including kdocs_status, kdocs_list, kdocs_search, kdocs_read, kdocs_link, kdocs_download, and kdocs_create.
5. Location Memory
After the panel is closed (including automatic closure via “Reference”) and reopened, it restores the last tab, folder path, or search results.
Installation and Activation¶
1. Install the Plugin
Run the following command in a terminal to install the plugin:
dsh plugin --profile web add https://github.com/Tang-mm95/dsh-kdocs-connector
After installation, restart Harness to enable the new plugin.
2. First-Time Use
Go to Harness settings, locate the “Kingsoft Docs” option, and click “🌐 Web Login.” Complete authorization with a WPS personal account.
Typical Usage¶
1. Install the Plugin
If you prefer not to enter the command manually, send the following instruction directly in the chat:
帮我安装这个插件 https://github.com/Tang-mm95/dsh-kdocs-connector
2. Referencing a Document for Processing
Browse to the document that needs to be processed on the settings page and click the “Reference” button. After returning to the chat input box, enter an instruction asking the model to process that document. For example:
“Please summarize the core points based on this document.”
The model automatically calls the kdocs_read tool to parse the document content and returns the result.
Notes¶
- Account Type Limitation: This plugin supports WPS personal accounts only. If you use an enterprise account, use WPS365 CLI instead.
- Download Mechanism: Downloads are implemented through browser download links. Direct server-side downloads return a 403 error because they lack the browser login session.
- Reference Scope: The reference function only writes into the input box of the current session and does not modify the document itself.
- Updating Takes Effect: After each plugin update, restart Harness for the changes to take effect.
