Introduction

When developing agents with DeepSeek Harness (DSH), managing multiple LLM providers typically requires configuring different Base URLs and API Keys. The dsh-allrouter plugin provides a simplified solution by registering AllRouter as a unified provider for DSH. With this plugin, you only need to maintain one API Key to switch among models such as Kimi K3, Claude, GPT, Grok, GLM, DeepSeek, and MiniMax-H3 in DSH.

Plugin Overview

  • Name: dsh-allrouter
  • Maintainer: mario03690
  • Category: Model Inference
  • License: MIT

Core Features

  • Unified Key Management: One Base URL and one Key, supporting Kimi K3, Claude, GPT, Grok, GLM, DeepSeek, and MiniMax-H3.
  • Seamless Switching: Switch models directly in DSH without reconfiguration.
  • True Costs: Every call returns the actual token consumption and cost.
  • Zero Local Tool Code: The plugin only contains one provider configuration block (llm-pi-ai.providers.allrouter) and includes no tool code, build steps, or lifecycle scripts.
  • Direct Pricing: Token rates are billed directly by the provider with no additional markup; unsuccessful calls are not billed.
  • Model Validation: Validated against online endpoints as of 2026-08-17, supporting Kimi-K3, claude-fable-5, gpt-5.6-sol, grok-4.6, GLM5.2, and deepseek-v4-flash.

Installation and Activation

  1. Run the following command in the terminal to install the plugin:
dsh plugin --profile <your-profile> add github:mario03690/dsh-allrouter
  1. Set the environment variable ALLROUTER_API_KEY:
    export ALLROUTER_API_KEY=sk-...

Usage

After installation, select any of the models listed above in DSH to use it. To use MiniMax-H3, first enable that model in the AllRouter console (System Settings → Operations Settings → Enable Self-Use Models).

Notes and Security

  • Configuration Updates: Configuration changes take effect with the next request, without restarting the process.
  • Permission Scope:
    • File System/Process/Shell: No access.
    • Network Access: Only outbound HTTPS requests to allrouter.ai/v1 are allowed (initiated by DSH itself; the plugin does not include a network client).
    • Data Storage: The plugin does not store any prompts or data; prompts are sent directly from DSH to AllRouter.
  • Credential Security: The API Key is read from the environment variable ALLROUTER_API_KEY and stored in DSH’s credential file; the plugin itself does not access the key.
