Introduction

DeepSeek Harness (DSH) follows the “everything is a plugin” philosophy, and its plugin ecosystem is growing rapidly. Developers often face the problem of plugins being scattered across GitHub, official catalogs, and community lists, making manual lookup of install commands inefficient. Existing radar or marketplace solutions usually rely on README scraping, use a single data source, and are prone to missing entries.

dsh-plugin-store provides a unified solution. It is presented as an App Store-style settings page, integrates probes for the official catalog, community-curated selections, and the GitHub ecosystem, and supports one-click installation and uninstallation.

What Is This

dsh-plugin-store is a plugin radar for DeepSeek Harness. It is maintained by maoruoyu and is designed to address the fragmentation of plugin discovery and installation. Through a unified settings entry, it consolidates the official API, a curated registry, and GitHub Topic probes, providing an app-store-like browsing experience.

Core Features

  1. Multi-source data probing
    - dsh.do API: Calls the official catalog interface to retrieve the complete paginated package list.
    - Curated registry: Integrates awesome-dsh-plugin to obtain entries that include categories and bilingual descriptions.
    - GitHub Topic: Searches by topic:dsh-plugin and supports sorting by Star count or recent updates.
  2. App Store-style UI
    - Displays plugin cards in the DSH Web settings page.
    - Supports sorting by stars, practicality score, category, search, and recent updates.
    - Avatar preloading and caching to avoid icon flickering.
  3. Smart installation and uninstallation
    - Source-aware priority: Automatically selects an installation source in the following order:
    1. dsh.do’s installCommandNpm
    2. dsh.do’s installCommandGit
    3. The install field in the curated registry
    4. GitHub source URL (used only as a fallback)
      - Supports one-click installation and uninstallation. Install commands automatically include the current profile.
  4. Flexible refresh mechanism
    - Supports manual refresh.
    - Supports automatic refresh with selectable intervals of 15, 30, 60, or 120 minutes.

Installation and Activation

Run the following command in the terminal to install the plugin into the current DSH instance:

dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-plugin-store

After installation, restart or refresh the DSH Web UI. Enter the settings page, and you can see the “Plugin Radar” entry.

Typical Usage

  1. Open “Plugin Radar” in the settings page.
  2. Choose a sorting method as needed (for example, by practicality score) or use the search box to find plugins.
  3. Click the install or uninstall button. The plugin is automatically installed into the current profile using the correct command.
  4. Local test: run ./scripts/test-local.sh 34129.

Use Cases and Notes

Use cases: DSH users who need to manage plugins in bulk, find high-quality plugins, or plugin developers who need to test plugin distribution workflows.

Notes:
1. Permissions and security: Plugins run with the permissions of the current DSH process. Before installing third-party plugins, check their source code and licenses.
2. Package name conflicts: The npm package name dsh-plugin-store may already be taken. Before publishing, rename it in the name field of package.json and in the ID in lib/client.js.
3. Dependency requirements: A React peer dependency is required.
4. Data source configuration: A GitHub Token is optional for the probe to improve API rate limits. The DSH_GITHUB_TOKEN or GITHUB_TOKEN environment variable can be used to control the API base URL.

Summary

dsh-plugin-store simplifies the DSH plugin discovery and management workflow through unified data sources and an App Store-level interaction experience. Whether browsing the official catalog or community-curated selections, it provides a consistent entry point.
