Introduction¶
DeepSeek Harness (DSH) adopts a plugin-based architecture, aiming to extend agent capabilities through modular components. When building agents with DSH, enabling the model to retrieve and reuse existing skills on demand (such as code review, TDD, security checks, reverse engineering analysis, Obsidian notes, browser automation, and more) is key to improving development efficiency. The cmp-skill-index plugin directly provides the agent with the 70 skill indexes built into codex-mobile-pro, delivering a fast, zero-build, pure-JS search capability.
What It Is¶
This is a DSH tool plugin maintained by malaxiya2019. It indexes the 70 skills in codex-mobile-pro, allowing the agent to search for and reuse existing skills by name at runtime. The plugin is developed in pure JavaScript; the source code is the deliverable, with no build process required.
Core Features¶
The plugin provides two core tools:
-
list_skills
- Parameters: None
- Returns: An array of
{name, description}objects containing all 70 skills.
-
search_skills
- Parameters:
query(required),limit(default 20, maximum 50) - Returns: An array of results matched case-insensitively against name and description.
- Parameters:
Installation and Enablement¶
Installation via GitHub is recommended; no npm registry configuration is required:
dsh plugin --profile demo add github:malaxiya2019/dsh-cmp-skill-index
For local installation, run npm pack in the plugin directory to generate an archive, then install it:
# 在插件目录
npm pack
dsh plugin --profile demo add ./cmp-skill-index-0.1.0.tgz
After installation, the plugin is automatically activated.
Typical Usage¶
After installation, you can call the tools above in DSH configuration or scripts. Example:
search_skills(query: "frida")
// 返回: [rev-frida, rev-ios-dump]
search_skills(query: "obsidian")
// 返回: [obsidian-vault]
The list_skills tool can be used to view an overview of all available skills.
Applicable Scenarios and Notes¶
This plugin is designed for DSH agent scenarios that require many reusable skill templates. Because it is developed in pure JavaScript and has no build step, enabling allowBuilds is not required when installing from git.
- Dependencies: The environment must include
@deepseek-ai/cordisand@deepseek-ai/dsh-tools. - Data Source: The skill data is extracted from malaxiya2019/codex-mobile-pro.
- Permissions: The plugin runs with the permissions of the current dsh process. Please review the source code and license (MIT) before installation.
Conclusion¶
By introducing this plugin, DSH agents can dynamically query the skill library at runtime, reducing hard-coded dependencies. For more details, refer to the GitHub repository or the community catalog.
