In a DeepSeek Harness (DSH) environment, developers often need to introduce spec-driven delivery, Git workflow control, security policies, and code navigation capabilities at the same time. Installing these plugins individually can make configuration management cumbersome. dsh-engineering-suite provides a Profile Bundle that bundles these capabilities together, reducing configuration fragmentation.

This is a plugin suite maintained by lonelymoon87, designed to solve the “one-stop installation” problem. It includes four standalone plugins: dsh-specflow, dsh-gitflow, dsh-guardian, and dsh-code-intel. The suite uniformly locks its components to version v0.1.3, avoiding environment inconsistencies caused by ambiguous third-party dependency versions.

Core Features

The Bundle packages four engineering-focused plugins, each handling different scenarios:

  • dsh-specflow: Provides persistent spec-driven delivery capabilities.
  • dsh-gitflow: Provides Git boundary checks, commit and branch management, with optional change-ledger restore points.
  • dsh-guardian: Provides dangerous-operation policies, including redaction of standard results and security review.
  • dsh-code-intel: Provides symbol outlines and persistent lexical or embedding-assisted code search.

Installation and Activation

After installing the Bundle, the plugins are inserted into the configuration through the cordis.patch.yml layer.

  1. Use the official command to add the suite to a specified Profile (using web as an example):
dsh plugin --profile web add https://github.com/lonelymoon87/dsh-engineering-suite/releases/download/v0.1.0/dsh-engineering-suite-0.1.0.tgz
  1. If you are using an ephemeral Agent Profile, replace web in the command with headless.
  2. After installation, restart the long-running Profile to apply the configuration.

To remove the suite:

dsh plugin --profile web remove dsh-engineering-suite

Typical Usage

  • Single-component installation: If you only need one of the capabilities above, you can install only that individual component.
  • Configuration override: The cordis.patch.yml configuration layers under the Profile and home directory still have the highest priority and may override configuration entries inserted by the suite.

Applicability and Notes

  • Permissions and data: The suite itself contains no runtime code or data-processing logic. Installed components retain their documented existing behavior, including reading spec progress, executing local Git commands, inspecting tool calls, and building local indexes.
  • Component limitations: VS Code is not included, because it is a client extension rather than a Profile plugin.
  • Privacy and telemetry: None of the components send telemetry data or register required custom session events.
  • Security review: Before enabling the suite in sensitive workspaces, it is recommended to read the README documentation for each component.

The suite simplifies DSH engineering configuration complexity through unified version locking and a Bundle layer. See its GitHub repository for more details.
