Introduction¶
The design philosophy of DeepSeek Harness (DSH) is “everything is a plugin.” If you need to connect DeepSeek’s capabilities to QQ social scenarios, the dsh-qqchat plugin provides a ready-to-use solution. It addresses the need to connect directly to a DSH Agent from QQ group chats and private chats, supporting official Bot authorization, memory management, and the native DSH conversation interface.
Plugin Overview¶
dsh-qqchat is a client plugin for DeepSeek Harness, maintained by developer Coffeiz. Based on the QQ Chat protocol, it allows users to directly use DSH agent capabilities in QQ group chats and private chats. With it, DSH’s native interface, memory system, and command mechanism can be seamlessly mapped into QQ conversational scenarios.
Core Features¶
- Connection and Reconnection: Supports QR code connection and manual AppID/AppSecret entry. Automatically reconnects after disconnection without requiring QR code scanning again.
- Session Management: Each group chat and private chat correspondent has an independent DSH session, supporting session isolation. Supports actively sending messages to QQ from the native DSH interface.
- Message Processing: Supports group chat reply modes (automatic response, @-triggered response, silent logging), conversion of quoted messages and @ mentions, and streaming replies in private chats.
- Memory System: Maintains group chat memory, group member memory, and private chat user memory separately. Supports memory consolidation (automatically converting recent records into long-term memory) and reusing user memory across groups.
- Permissions and Tools: Supports media and file permission management, with separate control over receiving, reading, and tool usage permissions.
- Command System: Supports native DSH commands (such as
/compact) and QQChat-specific commands (such as/qqhelp).
Installation and Enablement¶
Installation requires specifying a profile. It is recommended to create a new qqchat profile:
npx @deepseek-ai/dsh plugin --profile qqchat add @deepseek-ai/dsh-web-app dsh-qqchat
npx @deepseek-ai/dsh --profile qqchat
It can also be installed into an existing web profile, or directly from the development branch on GitHub.
Typical Usage¶
- After starting DSH, go to Settings → QQ Chat.
- Click Connect via QR Code and scan the generated QR code with the QQ mobile app to complete official Bot authorization. Alternatively, choose manual configuration and enter the AppID and AppSecret.
- After the connection succeeds, send
/qqhelpin a QQ group or private chat to view the list of available commands, or send/qqpreset [preset]to switch the Agent Preset.
Use Cases and Cautions¶
- Use Cases: When you need QQ groups as an interaction entry point for DSH Agents, or when you need to manage memory for specific users.
- Notes:
- The QQ official Bot is required; personal QQ account login is not supported.
- The plugin is still being refined in its current version. It is recommended to use it in a test environment first.
- Rich media, full emoji support, and some complex message formats may require compatibility mode.
- Uninstalling the plugin will not automatically delete saved chat records and memory data.
Conclusion¶
dsh-qqchat connects the QQ ecosystem with the powerful capabilities of DSH. As a community plugin, its code quality is still iterating. You can view the source code and documentation via GitHub or the SkillHub directory.
