Preface¶
DeepSeek Harness (DSH) adopts a plugin-based architecture, allowing the capabilities of an agent to be extended by installing plugins. When developing applications involving audio or video, integrating the Agora SDK directly and handling multi-region configurations (especially for Shengwang) often requires writing a large amount of configuration code. The dsh-agora plugin integrates official Agora skills into DSH, enabling their core functions to be invoked through natural-language instructions.
What This Is¶
dsh-agora is a DeepSeek Harness (DSH) plugin. It synchronizes the official skill content from the AgoraIO/skills repository into DSH and injects Shengwang regional difference-handling logic at build time. After installation, the DSH agent can operate RTC, RTM, Voice AI, and other features through natural language.
Core Features¶
This plugin integrates the following capabilities:
* Voice AI agents (ConvoAI): Build voice agents or voice bots.
* RTC: Video calls, voice calls, live streams, and screen sharing.
* RTM: Chat, presence, and signaling.
* Cloud Recording: Record calls and live streams.
* Server: Generate Token and App ID on the server side.
* Server Gateway: Server-side coordination across services.
* Agora CLI: CLI acceleration (optional, automatically detected after installation).
Installation and Activation¶
Install the plugin from the command line:
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-agora
Note: if your environment uses pnpm ≥ 8.15 (for example 9.15), running bare add may report an ERR_PNPM_ADDING_TO_ROOT error. In this case, add the -w parameter to the command:
dsh plugin --profile web add -w dsh-agora
After installation is complete, restart the web profile, and the agora skill will become available in the skill catalog.
Typical Usage¶
By describing requirements in natural language, the plugin routes to the official quick start and guide pages, helping to complete the configuration. For example:
* “set up a voice AI agent with Agora”
* “build an RTC video call app”
Applicable Scenarios and Notes¶
- Prerequisites: DSH must be installed and running; building real applications requires an Agora account to obtain a Token and App ID.
- Shengwang support: The plugin has built-in Shengwang regional support (console address is
console.shengwang.cn). During build, the system generates regional gateway and CN mapping files (located inassets/agora-cn/). When a user request points to mainland China, the model automatically loads the corresponding differential configuration (such ascn.md). - Content synchronization: The official Agora skill content is synchronized verbatim, while Shengwang difference files are built at release time.
- CLI: Agora CLI is optional. If it is installed and added to the PATH, the skill will use it to accelerate workflows.
Brief Conclusion¶
The dsh-agora plugin provides DSH users with a standardized way to integrate Agora services, supports Shengwang environments, and lowers the development barrier through natural language. All features follow the MIT license, and official content is synchronized from AgoraIO/skills.
