DeepSeek Harness natively supports <name>/SKILL.md, and its frontmatter key names align with the Anthropic specification. What DSH lacks is a toolchain for importing, normalizing, and distributing skills. dsh-skill-adapter provides this toolset, bringing existing libraries such as agent-skills into DSH.
This plugin is maintained by zp-home and is under the MIT license. The core includes: a zero-dependency parsing library, a CLI importer, and a DSH SkillProvider plugin.
Core Features¶
The plugin provides three capabilities:
- Parsing and Normalization:
@dsh-skill-adapter/core. Parses SKILL.md using a zero-dependency hand-written YAML subset, and normalizes frontmatter. Normalization rules include:nameanddescriptionare required; invalidnamevalues are converted to kebab-case;when-to-use/when_to_useare unified aswhenToUse. - CLI Import Tool:
dsh-skill-import. Supports batch fetching, validation, normalization, writing to disk, and generating a compatibility report. - Runtime Mounting: DSH plugin
SkillProvider. Dynamically mounts skills from GitHub or local directories at runtime, without requiring manual file copying.
Installation and Enablement¶
Install the plugin using the official command:
dsh plugin --profile web add github:<你的用户名>/dsh-skill-adapter
After installation, edit the installed package’s cordis.patch.yml to configure skill sources. Two source types are supported: GitHub repositories and local directories:
- insert:
- id: dsh-skill-adapter
name: dsh-skill-adapter
config:
cacheTtlMs: 300000 # 列表缓存毫秒数(默认 5 分钟)
sources:
- type: github
owner: addyosmani
repo: agent-skills
- type: local
root: /path/to/my/skills
After restarting dsh web, DSH’s skill tool can discover these skills.
CLI Importer Usage¶
If you need a one-time batch import and want to write the results to disk, use the CLI tool. The command is located at packages/cli/src/cli.js.
Import from a GitHub skill library:
node packages/cli/src/cli.js \
--source github:addyosmani/agent-skills \
--verbose
Import from multiple sources and preview:
node packages/cli/src/cli.js \
--source github:ckorhonen/claude-skills \
--source local:./my-skills \
--out ~/.dsh/skills \
--dry-run --verbose
Output a JSON compatibility report:
node packages/cli/src/cli.js --source local:./examples/skills --json
Environment and Dependencies¶
- Node.js version >= 18.17 is required.
- Depends on
@deepseek-ai/cordisas an optional dependency. - To be included in the
dsh-recommendregistry, the GitHub repository must have the topicdsh-plugin.
This plugin fills the gap in the DSH ecosystem for migrating skills from Claude Code/Codex, providing a one-stop solution from parsing to distribution.
