Introduction

In the development workflow of DeepSeek Harness (DSH), the Web interface is the main window for inspecting model outputs and debugging Agents. Prolonged exposure to the default theme can cause visual fatigue. As a purely visual plugin, dsh-cyberpunk-theme provides an alternative interface style.

Plugin Overview

This plugin is maintained by zjwzjw1018-git and is built on DSH’s official theme extension point (ctx.theme / @deepseek-ai/dsh-client-ui-theme). It does not modify model logic or prompts; it only applies style overrides to the Web UI.

Core Features

This plugin focuses on visual customization and includes the following features:

  • Color scheme: dark blue-black background, neon cyan primary color (#00f0ff), and magenta accents (#ff2a6d).
  • Visual effects: top/right neon strips, cursor glow, button glow, input focus breathing pulse, title glow, gradient scrollbars, and neon reflections at the bottom of the conversation area.
  • Mode switching: The settings row supports one-click switching between four modes (Light, Dark, System, Cyberpunk).
  • Shortcut: Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + P switches between Cyberpunk mode and regular Dark mode.

Installation and Enabling

Clone the repository from GitHub and install it into the Web profile:

git clone https://github.com/zjwzjw1018-git/dsh-cyberpunk-theme.git
dsh plugin --profile web add ./dsh-cyberpunk-theme
dsh web

dsh web is the built-in DSH Web profile and is initialized automatically on first use. If the plugin has been published to npm, you can also install it with one command using dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-cyberpunk-theme.

After installation, restart DSH; the plugin will be activated automatically. In the interface, open Settings → General, and select Cyberpunk in the Theme Skin row to apply it.

Usage

  1. Switch theme: Open Settings → General → Theme Skin and select Cyberpunk.
  2. Quick switching: Use the shortcut Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + P to switch quickly between the Cyberpunk theme and the normal Dark theme.
  3. Persistence: The theme selection is saved persistently and applied automatically after restart.

Customization and Notes

  • Custom color palette: All colors are centralized in the TOKENS object in client.js. Override the --dsw-alias-* variables to modify the primary color, background color, and glow effects.
  • Source review: The plugin follows the MIT License. It is recommended to review the source code before installation to ensure safety.
  • Runtime permissions: This plugin runs with the permissions of the current DSH process. Ensure that it is installed from a trusted source.

Short Conclusion

This plugin helps developers with long debugging sessions through visual feedback. To modify the color scheme or inspect implementation details, refer to its GitHub repository.
