Introduction

One of the design principles of DeepSeek Harness (DSH) is “everything is a plugin.” For developers, in addition to adjusting features through configuration, the interface visuals can also be changed through skin plugins. The default interface is general-purpose, but it often lacks personalization. This plugin aims to provide DSH Web with a visual theme based on the fan-made game Danganronpa: Fatesumphony. It replaces assets and uses public DOM hooks to implement a full-screen wallpaper, a custom cursor, and a specific layout structure without relying on any existing skin package.

Plugin Overview

dsh-angelsanddemon-fatesumphony-skin is a standalone DSH Web skin plugin. The author is zhangyuzhangyu233.

The plugin is not based on other skin plugins; it is developed only with game assets from Danganronpa: Fatesumphony and DSH’s public DOM hooks. Both the code and assets follow their respective open-source licenses.

Core Features

By modifying page DOM and resource references, the plugin implements the following visual and interactive effects:

  • Custom cursor: Uses mouse.png (scaled to 14×19, hot spot 2,2) as the global cursor.
  • Full-screen wallpaper: Uses background.png, scaled proportionally with cover mode to fill the viewport, without distorting when the page scrolls.
  • Left sidebar trapezoid bar: Uses leftbar.png attached to the left side, with overall opacity about 45%. The top side has a 78px slanted cap, and the bottom side has a 90px closure.
  • Input dialogue bar: Uses talkingbar.png to create an input area with a parallelogram border.
  • Bottom invocation data area: Uses talkingbar_buttom.png (trapezoid caps on both ends) and buttom-M.png (stretched middle section). This area implements a one-way marquee: data scrolls, pauses for 5 seconds, then scrolls again, never rolling back. Driven by the main clock in client.js, node updates while an agent is running do not interrupt the phase or overlap.
  • Send button: Uses next.png (blue V arrow) floating on the right side of the input card.
  • Running wheel: Inserts the rolling.png wheel on the left side of the “Deep diving…” status row when an agent is running, and rotates it at a constant speed (following the prefers-reduced-motion media query).
  • New session pill: Uses newsession.png, designed to be compact and not fill the entire row.

Installation and Enablement

The installation process requires npm and must be combined with DSH’s profile configuration.

  1. Install the package: Run the following command in the terminal:
    npm install dsh-angelsanddemon-fatesumphony-skin
  1. Register the Bundle: Open the DSH Web profile configuration file (for example, dsh.profile.bundles under ~/.dsh/profiles/web/) and add the plugin name to the list:
    "dsh-angelsanddemon-fatesumphony-skin"
  1. Mount Declaration: In the same profile directory, edit cordis.patch.yml and add the following:
    - id: dsh-angelsanddemon-fatesumphony-skin
      name: dsh-angelsanddemon-fatesumphony-skin
  1. Apply: Restart the dsh web service.

Typical Usage

After installation, the plugin automatically marks body with data-dsh-tenma. All styles and logic are attached under this marker, ensuring that layout ownership remains official and only visual overrides are applied.

  • Asset references: The plugin provides hashed static-asset routing (/dsh-angelsanddemon-fatesumphony-skin/assets/*) through host.js.
  • Special asset handling: rolling.png (the running wheel) has a base64 copy embedded in client.js. After modifying client.js, simply refresh the browser page to apply the changes; no service restart is required.
  • Development debugging: The plugin has no build step. Developers can directly modify client.js or asset files under the assets/ directory, then refresh the page or restart the service to see the updates.

Notes

  • Asset licensing: The code portion (host.js, client.js, cordis.patch.yml) is under the MIT license. The game assets (assets/) are under CC BY-NC 4.0, owned by the fan-game production team, and are limited to non-commercial use.
  • Trademark statement: Danganronpa is a registered trademark of Spike Chunsoft. This plugin is a fan-made work.
  • Resource redundancy: Assets such as hero.jpg, buttom-L/R.png, talkingbar_lighter.png, send.png, and selected.png provided with the package are currently unused and are retained for future iterations.
  • Permission check: The plugin runs with the permissions of the current DSH process. It is recommended to inspect the source code and licenses before installation.

Conclusion

dsh-angelsanddemon-fatesumphony-skin provides a complete DSH interface customization solution based on the Danganronpa: Fatesumphony theme. Implemented in pure JavaScript, it has a clear structure and is suitable for developers to reference or use directly.
