DeepSeek Harness Web was originally designed for desktop: three columns side by side, mouse-first. If opened directly on a phone, the sidebar, headings, and input box squeeze against each other, and tapping a session can unexpectedly trigger the system keyboard. This plugin does not compress the desktop layout. Instead, it adds a separate mobile interface layer to resolve interaction conflicts on narrow screens.
What This Is¶
This is dsh-mobile-ui, a DSH client plugin maintained by yuanzhenqi. It is positioned as a mobile shell for DSH, not a scaled-down desktop interface.
Core Features¶
The interactions and layout have been redesigned for mobile:
- Drawer navigation · full-width conversations: The sidebar becomes a drawer, and the conversation area expands to full width, preventing the three-column layout from squeezing each other on narrow screens.
- Collapse on session switch, keep keyboard down: When switching sessions, the drawer automatically collapses, and the system keyboard remains in the lowered/dismissed state, no longer stealing focus.
- Keep core actions, hide Session log only: Core action buttons are retained, while Session log is collapsed to keep the interface focused.
- Full-width sheet, scrollable and tappable: The settings page is presented as a full-width sheet, supporting scrolling and tapping, and avoiding being cut off by the bottom bar.
- A set of circular touch buttons: Circular touch buttons are used consistently to avoid a split style between left and right controls.
- Local file upload: Local file upload is supported (limited to ≤ 50 MB), and files are saved to
~/.dsh/uploads/.
Installation and Activation¶
The installation command is as follows:
dsh plugin --profile web add yuanzhenqi/dsh-mobile-ui
After installation, refresh the Web UI to activate it. No account, domain, or gateway is required.
Use Cases and Notes¶
This plugin works with the official DSH Web 0.1.x web profile.
- Remote access: Remote access (HTTPS gateway, Android shell) is a separate self-hosting solution and is not included in this repository. Use your own certificates and credentials; do not write credentials into the plugin.
- Permissions: The plugin runs with the permissions of the current dsh process.
Summary¶
dsh-mobile-ui rewrites the mobile interaction layer, making the DSH experience on phones closer to a native app. For more details and source code, see the GitHub repository.
