When developing or using agents in DeepSeek Harness, you often need to incorporate community-built plugins. These plugins are hosted in independent catalogs such as dshbase. Typically, developers need to open the catalog site in a browser to search for and copy installation commands. The dshbase-catalog plugin solves this problem, allowing you to query the catalog directly within a DSH session.

dshbase-catalog is a module plugin maintained by ylwl1997. It maintains a catalog index that is regenerated daily from the live dshbase catalog. It lets users search, list, and retrieve installation commands for community plugins without leaving the DSH session.

The plugin provides the following core features:
* Full-text search: Search plugin names and descriptions.
* Query a single plugin: Retrieve the installation command, validation status, and statistics.
* Category listing: List plugins by category.
* Statistics: Get total catalog counts (plugins, npm vs. git, validation).
* Category statistics: Get all categories and their counts.

Add the plugin using the official installation command:

dsh plugin add dshbase-catalog

After installation, you can use the following tools:
* search_dsh_plugins: Search plugin names and descriptions by full text.
* get_dsh_plugin: Query a single plugin, including the installation command, validation status, and statistics.
* list_dsh_plugins: List plugins by category.
* get_dsh_stats: Get catalog statistics, including total plugins, npm and Git sources, and validation status.
* get_dsh_categories: Get all categories and their counts.

This tool runs with the permissions of the current DSH process. The catalog snapshot is regenerated daily from the live dshbase catalog to keep it up to date. Before installing, review the source code and license (MIT).
