Introduction

In regular DeepSeek Harness (DSH) sessions, agents usually cannot retain previous memory after a session ends or the program restarts. This becomes a barrier when building a long-running team with coherent collaboration among members. dsh-agent-team is an optional collaboration plugin for DeepSeek Harness that turns agents from temporary sessions into persistent team members.

Plugin Positioning

This is a workflow-type plugin maintained by wowyuarm and licensed under MIT. Its core value is providing the “Persistent Members” capability, ensuring that agents have independent memory, notes, and skills, and do not lose context due to session interruptions or Harness restarts.

Core Capabilities

  1. Persistent Members: Each member has independent memory, notes, and skills, supports context rollback or anchoring, and ensures continuous collaboration.
  2. Workspaces and Channels: Organize different projects through workspaces, use channels to route responsibilities, and support @mentions.
  3. Task Threads: Maintain a single linear progression and prevent multiple session agents from interfering with each other.
  4. Web UI Integration: Provide a visual management interface, supporting the creation of channels and agents and the management of members.
  5. Model Tools: Provide dedicated tools for models, such as team_inbox, team_thread, team_message, team_claim, and team_view.

Installation and Activation

After installation, the plugin is only added to the web profile configuration and does not affect regular DSH sessions.

  1. Check the DSH version:
    dsh
  1. Install the plugin:
dsh plugin --profile web add @wowyuarm/dsh-agent-team
  1. Start the Web UI:
    dsh web

After installation is complete, you can use the following command to check whether the configuration is effective:

dsh --profile web --dump-config

The output should include configuration items such as wowyuarm-agent-team-scope and wowyuarm-agent-team-client.

Usage Flow

  1. Enter Team Mode in the browser.
  2. Select a workspace.
  3. Go to the Channels menu, click New Channel, and send a message.
  4. Use the Web UI to manage the creation of members and agents and permission assignment.

Notes

  • Startup Method Limitation: It must be started using the compiled CLI. Running pnpm dsh web directly from the source repository loads additional scope modules and causes errors.
  • Permission Risk: Team Member has relatively high preset permissions (danger-full-access). It is recommended to create agents only in trusted workspaces.
  • Development Environment Dependency: If running or developing from source, a local adjacent Harness repository is required.
