Introduction¶
When managing models in DeepSeek Harness, if the model list is long, manually searching for a specific model in the default model selection dropdown can be inefficient. This plugin solves this problem by adding a search input field to the model panel in the Web GUI.
Plugin Introduction¶
Name: dsh-model-filter
Category: Model Inference
License: MIT
This plugin injects code to override the original model selection component in the DSH Web GUI and provides an enhanced search interface.
Core Features¶
- Search Box: When the model panel is opened, a search input field is displayed at the top of the list.
- Fuzzy Matching: Performs case-insensitive string matching against model names, providers, and model IDs.
- Character Highlighting: Matched characters are highlighted for quick identification.
Installation and Enablement¶
Run the following command in the DeepSeek Harness root directory to install:
cd /path/to/deepseek-harness
pnpm dsh plugin --profile web add https://github.com/wold9168/dsh-model-filter/releases/download/<Version>/dsh-model-filter.tgz
After installation, restart DeepSeek Harness.
Usage¶
After installation, the search box will automatically appear in the model selection dropdown. Click the model selector and type keywords into the input field to filter the model list in real time.
Important Notes¶
This plugin is deprecated. The upstream DeepSeek Harness code already implements a search box for quick model selection in the /model command. This repository no longer has a purpose and is no longer recommended for continued use.
