Preface¶
DeepSeek Harness (DSH) uses a plugin-based architecture, allowing developers to extend functionality based on their requirements. When integrating multiple model providers (such as DeepSeek, Zhipu, Xiaomi, OpenCode Go, etc.), a common issue is that models with the same name across different providers are difficult to distinguish, which may lead to incorrect selections. The dsh-model-provider-badge plugin aims to solve this issue through visual identification.
Plugin Overview¶
This plugin is maintained by the user weijianguizhou. It replaces the default DSH model selector and displays the corresponding actual brand logo for each model, clearly distinguishing same-named models visually.
Core Features¶
-
Actual Brand Logos
The plugin uses official or publicly available SVG logos from providers such as DeepSeek, Zhipu, Xiaomi, and OpenCode Go. For unknown providers, it uses a cloud icon based on an ID hash as a fallback. -
Follows the DSH Theme
The colors for all panels, text, and borders are taken from DSH theme variables (--dsw-*), ensuring seamless integration with the interface in both light and dark modes. -
OpenCode-Style Structure
The UI uses monospaced typography and includes elements such as the> MODELSheader and>check marks, presenting a compact terminal-like style. -
Non-invasive
The plugin overrides official components using a Slot negative priority of -10 (the official priority is 0), without modifying any official DSH source code. -
Variant Resolution
It can automatically parse model variant group IDs (such as-visionand-official) and map them back to the base brand name for display.
Installation and Activation¶
Install it into the target profile using the DSH CLI:
dsh plugin --profile desktop add link:/path/to/dsh-model-provider-badge
Or manually edit profiles/<name>/package.json, add the plugin to the dependency list, and ensure it is included in the dsh.profile.bundles array. After installation, restart DSH Desktop to apply the changes.
Typical Usage¶
After installing the plugin, the model selector automatically includes brand logos. For example:
* deepseek-v4-flash provided by DeepSeek-official will display the DeepSeek whale logo.
* deepseek-v4-flash provided by opencode-go will display the OpenCode terminal window logo.
Notes¶
- The plugin depends on DSH theme variables for its colors. Please ensure the theme configuration is correct.
- The plugin uses a Slot negative priority to implement overlaying. Please pay attention to version compatibility.
- The code is released under the MIT license. Please check the source code and license before use.
