Introduction

DeepSeek Harness (DSH) provides primitives for building multi-agent workflows, but running multiple parallel reviewers directly often produces too many false positives. Manually filtering through these findings takes even more time than the time saved by the review. dsh-review solves this problem by introducing an adversarial verification stage, in which every finding is challenged to ensure that only confirmed defects are reported.

What It Is

dsh-review is a packaged multi-agent adversarial code review tool. It is maintained by Viger1. It ensures that only confirmed defects pass by running different reviewers in parallel and then running specific rebuttal validators for each finding.

Core Features

  • Parallel Discovery: Runs multiple agents simultaneously, each using a different perspective (correctness, lifecycle/concurrency, API contract consistency, security).
  • Adversarial Verification: Each finding has a dedicated validator aimed at rebutting it. Verification is consistent; a single rebuttal discards the finding.
  • Filtered Output: Returns confirmed findings (file, line, failing scenario, suggested fix) and the titles of rebutted findings, rather than reporting unverified assertions.
  • Bundled Skill: Includes the adversarial-review skill, teaching agents when review is worthwhile.

Installation

dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-review

Usage

The tool provides a review command. Because each finding involves an additional agent, this is an expensive operation, typically used for pre-release audits rather than every commit check. You can use depth: quick to limit cost.

review { target: "...", depth: "quick" }

Using depth: quick limits the run to two finders, four confirmed findings, and one validator, costing about one-third of a full run.

Requirements and Limitations

It requires Node.js version ^22.19 or >=24, as well as a composite sub-agent provider (default to the spawn provider in dsh-base).

Ecosystem Position

It is part of the broader dsh review tool family, including dsh-preview for visual checks and dsh-pilot for page operations.
