Introduction¶
DeepSeek Harness (DSH) adopts a plugin-based architecture, allowing developers to extend agent capabilities by registering local tools. When an agent needs to perform specific calculations (such as voltage drop verification), implementing the logic directly in a local plugin is more stable and faster than calling external network APIs. This article introduces the dsh-voltage-drop plugin, which aims to address this calculation need.
Plugin Overview¶
The plugin is used for voltage drop verification and provides the voltage_drop tool. It is implemented in pure Node.js and does not depend on any network requests. The author is istone, and the repository owner is uckkk.
Installation and Enablement¶
Before installation, make sure the required dependency libraries are installed in the DSH environment:
* @deepseek-ai/cordis: ^4.0.1
* @deepseek-ai/dsh-tools: >=0.1.0-rc.6
Run the following command to install the plugin:
dsh plugin add github:uckkk/dsh-voltage-drop
After installation completes, restart the DSH process to load the plugin.
Usage¶
After successful installation, the plugin registers the voltage_drop tool in the current session. Invoke the tool directly in the conversation, pass the relevant parameters, and obtain accurate voltage drop calculation results.
Notes¶
- The plugin is implemented in pure Node and has no network dependencies, making it suitable for offline or intranet environments.
- The plugin depends on specific versions of the DSH core libraries. Check version compatibility before installation.
- It is recommended to review the source code before use to confirm that its behavior is as expected.
Conclusion¶
dsh-voltage-drop adds local electrical calculation capabilities to the DSH ecosystem, making it suitable for scenarios requiring frequent voltage drop estimation in agent workflows.
