Introduction¶
DeepSeek Harness (DSH) extends agent capabilities through a plugin mechanism. In text processing workflows, it is often necessary to remove redundant or meaningless whitespace characters to ensure data consistency or correct formatting. The dsh-trim plugin is specifically designed for this scenario and provides text-cleaning capabilities directly within a session.
Plugin Overview¶
dsh-trim is a client-side plugin maintained by uckkk, whose core function is whitespace removal. The plugin is implemented in pure Node.js, does not require network access at runtime, and can be used immediately after installation.
Core Features¶
- Tool registration: After installation, the plugin registers the corresponding tool in the current session.
- Text cleaning: Developers can directly invoke these registered tools to perform whitespace removal on input text.
Installation and Activation¶
Run the following command in the DSH environment to install the plugin:
dsh plugin add github:uckkk/dsh-trim
After installation, the plugin becomes active in the session.
Usage¶
After installation, invoke the tool registered by the plugin within the session. The exact invocation method should follow the tool’s definition in DSH.
Use Cases and Notes¶
- Use cases: Suitable for scenarios where whitespace characters in text need to be automatically removed during conversation or script processing workflows.
- Runtime environment: The plugin runs with the permissions of the current DSH process.
- Dependencies: Before installation, make sure that
@deepseek-ai/cordis(^4.0.1) and@deepseek-ai/dsh-tools(>=0.1.0-rc.6) are installed. - Security: As an open-source project (MIT license), it is recommended to review the source code and license before installation.
