Introduction¶
The DeepSeek Harness (DSH) plugin architecture is designed to let developers extend functionality through simple configuration. When building agents or toolchains involving cross-timezone interactions, precise time conversion logic is often essential. This section introduces the dsh-timezone-diff plugin, which provides a localized timezone difference calculation solution.
Plugin Positioning¶
This is a DSH plugin maintained by uckkk, primarily used for timezone difference conversion. The plugin is implemented in pure Node.js, does not rely on network requests, and can run directly locally.
Core Functionality¶
The core tool provided by the plugin is timezone_diff. This tool supports precise calculations based on parameters and returns detailed results.
Installation and Enablement¶
To install the plugin, run the following command:
dsh plugin add github:uckkk/dsh-timezone-diff
After installation is complete, the tool registered by the plugin becomes available in the session and can be used by direct invocation.
Dependencies and Environment¶
The plugin depends on the following peerDependencies at runtime:
* @deepseek-ai/cordis (^4.0.1)
* @deepseek-ai/dsh-tools (>=0.1.0-rc.6)
In addition, the plugin code is implemented in pure Node and has no network dependency during runtime.
Applicable Scenarios¶
This plugin is suitable for scenarios that require handling cross-timezone time conversion within the DSH ecosystem. Because the plugin runs with the permissions of the current DSH process, before installation please ensure the environment meets the dependency requirements above and review the source code and license.
