Introduction¶
DeepSeek Harness (DSH) adopts an “everything is a plugin” architecture, where developers can extend tool capabilities by installing plugins. In agent development, calculating step count or stride length usually requires writing custom logic or relying on external services. dsh-step-goal is a plugin maintained by uckkk. It encapsulates step and stride calculation logic into a DSH tool, supporting precise calculation based on parameters and returning detailed results.
Core Features¶
The plugin provides the following capabilities:
* Step and stride calculation: Provides a dedicated calculation tool.
* Precise calculation: Calculates based on input parameters and returns detailed results.
* Local execution: Implemented entirely in Node.js, does not rely on network requests, and runs stably.
Installation and Enablement¶
To install the plugin, run the following command in the terminal:
dsh plugin add github:uckkk/dsh-step-goal
After installation is complete, the tools registered by the plugin can be called directly in the session.
Usage¶
After installation, simply call the tool registered by the plugin in a DSH session. The specific invocation method should follow the tool’s parameter definitions.
Applicable Scenarios and Notes¶
- Environment dependencies: The plugin requires
@deepseek-ai/cordisversion ^4.0.1 and@deepseek-ai/dsh-toolsversion >=0.1.0-rc.6. - Permissions and security: The plugin runs with the permissions of the current DSH process. It is recommended to check the source code and license (MIT) before installation.
Conclusion¶
This plugin provides a lightweight, local solution for step and stride calculation. For more technical details, refer to the GitHub repository or the DSH plugin directory.
