The design philosophy of DeepSeek Harness (DSH) is “everything is a plugin.” When building agents or distributed systems, generating globally unique IDs is a common requirement. The dsh-snowflake plugin provides a solution for this by generating Snowflake IDs locally without requiring additional network requests.
Plugin Overview¶
The plugin is maintained by the developer uckkk under the MIT open source license. It is a pure Node.js implementation with no network dependencies, running directly in the DSH process.
Core Features¶
- Generate Snowflake IDs: By invoking the tool registered by the plugin in a session, you can generate unique IDs that conform to the Snowflake algorithm.
- No Network Dependencies: It is a pure Node implementation that does not make any external network requests, making it suitable for scenarios that require network isolation.
Installation and Activation¶
Run the following command to install the plugin:
dsh plugin add github:uckkk/dsh-snowflake
After installation, invoke the tool registered by the plugin in a DSH session to use it.
Dependencies and Environment¶
The plugin depends on the following DSH core components:
@deepseek-ai/cordis(requires version ^4.0.1)@deepseek-ai/dsh-tools(requires version >=0.1.0-rc.6)
Notes¶
- The plugin runs with the permissions of the current DSH process. It is recommended to review the source code and license before installation.
- Dependencies must be pre-configured in the environment; otherwise, plugin loading may fail.
