Introduction¶
The core design philosophy of DeepSeek Harness (DSH) is “everything is a plugin”. When building agents for vertical domains, if they need to process domain-specific knowledge (such as literary terms), directly relying on external APIs often suffers from high costs, slow responses, or instability. The dsh-literature-terms plugin encapsulates local data to provide agents with a stable ability to query literary terms.
Plugin Overview¶
This plugin is maintained by uckkk and focuses on providing retrieval services for literary terms. It converts preconfigured literary term knowledge entries into tools that DSH can invoke, addressing the pain point that agents need online lookup when handling literary concepts.
Core Features¶
The plugin registers the following tools:
list_literature: lists all available literary term knowledge entries.get_literature: retrieves detailed information for a single term by name or ID.
Installation and Activation¶
Use the official installation command to add the plugin:
dsh plugin add github:uckkk/dsh-literature-terms
After installation, the tools are automatically registered in the current session and require no additional configuration.
Typical Usage¶
After installation, invoke the tools registered by the plugin directly in the session. The agent can use list_literature to see which terms are available, or use get_literature to obtain specific definitions.
Applicable Scenarios and Cautions¶
Applicable scenarios: Agents that need to process literary texts, explain literary concepts, or build literary knowledge bases.
Cautions:
1. This plugin is implemented purely in Node, has no network dependency at runtime, and stores data locally.
2. The plugin runs with the permissions of the current DSH process. Review the source code and license (MIT) before installation.
3. The plugin depends on @deepseek-ai/cordis and @deepseek-ai/dsh-tools; ensure environment version compatibility.
Summary¶
For agents that need a built-in literary knowledge base, this plugin provides a lightweight, network-free solution. For more details, visit the plugin directory or GitHub repository.
