Introduction¶
When developing agents using DeepSeek Harness (DSH), it is often necessary to calculate the size or structure of JSON data. Relying on external services can introduce network latency and uncertainty. The following section introduces a purely local solution.
Plugin Overview¶
This plugin is maintained by uckkk and is positioned as a JSON statistics tool. Its core advantage is that it is fully implemented in Node.js, without relying on any network connection or external service.
Core Features¶
- Pure Node implementation: all logic is executed locally.
- No network dependency: it does not make external requests or rely on cloud services.
Installation and Activation¶
Run the following command to install the plugin:
dsh plugin add dsh--size
After installation, add "dsh-json-size" to the dsh.profile.bundles field in the package.json file of your profile.
Typical Usage¶
After installation, you can simply call the tools registered by the plugin in your session.
Notes¶
The plugin runs locally with the permissions of the current DSH process. Installing it means executing third-party code, so please review the source code yourself.
Summary¶
dsh--size provides network-independent JSON statistics. For more details, see the plugin directory or source code repository.
