Introduction¶
When developing DeepSeek Harness (DSH) plugins or agents, you often need to generate a globally unique identifier (GUID) locally to tag sessions or objects. Instead of calling an external API for simple ID generation, it is better to obtain it directly locally. The following section introduces the dsh-guid plugin.
Plugin Positioning¶
dsh-guid is a DSH plugin maintained by developer uckkk, focusing on local GUID generation. It is implemented in pure Node.js, does not depend on any external network interfaces, and runs directly within the context of the current DSH process.
Core Features¶
- Local GUID generation
- No network dependencies
Installation and Enablement¶
Install it using the DSH CLI.
dsh plugin add github:uckkk/dsh-guid
After installation is complete, invoke the tool registered by the plugin in a DSH session to use it.
Use Cases and Notes¶
- The plugin runs with the privileges of the current DSH process. Please ensure the source code is secure.
- The plugin is open-sourced under the MIT license.
- To confirm the specific API invocation method, please check
cordis.patch.ymlor the README in the plugin source code.
Summary¶
If you need to generate unique identifiers offline in a DSH environment, dsh-guid provides a lightweight solution. For more details, see the GitHub repository.
