Introduction¶
In the DeepSeek Harness (DSH) ecosystem, everything is a plugin. When building agents, plugin developers sometimes need modules that do not rely on external network environments. dsh-germanium is the plugin designed for this scenario.
Plugin Positioning¶
dsh-germanium (codename “Germanium Element”) is a network tool plugin maintained by uckkk. Its core positioning is to provide a pure Node implementation that does not depend on network environments.
Core Features¶
- Pure Node implementation
- No network dependency
Installation and Activation¶
Run the following command in a terminal to install it:
dsh plugin add github:uckkk/dsh-germanium
After installation is complete, the plugin runs as part of the DSH process.
Typical Usage¶
Because the README does not provide specific code examples for usage, integration after installation mainly relies on the interfaces it provides. The plugin itself introduces the @deepseek-ai/cordis and @deepseek-ai/dsh-tools dependencies.
Applicable Scenarios and Notes¶
- Dependency requirements: The plugin depends on
@deepseek-ai/cordis(version ^4.0.1) and@deepseek-ai/dsh-tools(version >=0.1.0-rc.6) to run. - Permissions and security: The plugin runs with the privileges of the current DSH process. Before installation, it is recommended to review the source code and license (MIT).
- Applicable scenarios: Suitable for scenarios requiring purely local computation and where a plugin should not make HTTP requests to external APIs.
Summary¶
