Foreword¶
The DeepSeek Harness (DSH) plugin system allows functionality to be extended through plugins. When developing agents or configuring workflows, it is common to need conversions between .env format and JSON format. dsh-env- provides this conversion capability without relying on external services.
Plugin Overview¶
dsh-env- is a pure Node.js utility maintained by uckkk. It focuses on completing bidirectional conversion between environment variable files and JSON locally.
Core Features¶
- Format Conversion: Supports mutual conversion between
.envfiles and JSON. - Local Execution: Pure Node.js implementation with no network requests and no external service dependencies.
- Session Integration: Tools registered by the plugin can be invoked directly within a DSH session.
Installation and Enablement¶
Install the plugin via the command line:
dsh plugin add dsh-env-
After installation, the plugin is added to the dsh.profile.bundles field in the profile’s package.json.
Typical Usage¶
After installation, invoke the tool registered by this plugin in a session to perform format conversion operations.
Applicable Scenarios and Notes¶
This plugin is suitable for scenarios where configuration format conversion needs to be handled quickly locally and without network access.
Notes:
* Code Audit: Installing the plugin runs third-party code on your local machine. Please review the source code yourself.
* Dependency Versions: The plugin depends on @deepseek-ai/cordis version ^4.0.1 and @deepseek-ai/dsh-tools version >=0.1.0-rc.6.
Summary¶
dsh-env- provides a lightweight local solution for converting between .env and JSON. For developers who need to protect data privacy or reduce network dependencies, this is a directly usable tool.
