Introduction¶
When developing agents with DeepSeek Harness (DSH), handling color information—such as in Markdown tables, charts, or UI code snippets—is a common scenario. If the output color scheme cannot be recognized by users with certain color vision deficiencies, the accessibility of the application will be reduced.
This plugin provides local color-blindness simulation and color-blind-safe color scheme capabilities without relying on external network services.
Installation¶
Use the official catalog installation command:
dsh plugin add dsh-color-blindness
After installation, you need to enable this bundle in the profile’s package.json configuration. Add "dsh-color-blindness" to the dsh.profile.bundles field:
{
"dsh.profile.bundles": [
"dsh-color-blindness"
]
}
Core Features¶
After the plugin is installed, the corresponding tools are registered in the session. You can call these tools directly in conversation to obtain color-blindness simulation effects or color-blind-safe color schemes.
The plugin is implemented in pure Node.js, makes no network requests at runtime, and has no external service dependencies.
Applicable Scenarios and Notes¶
This plugin is suitable for agent scenarios that require outputting visual color information, such as assisting developers in checking color schemes.
Installing the plugin means running third-party code on your local machine. Please review the source code yourself.
