Introduction¶
DeepSeek Harness (DSH) extends agent capabilities through a plugin mechanism. In development scenarios involving chemistry knowledge retrieval, external APIs or large context windows are usually required. dsh-chemistry-terms provides a local-data-based knowledge retrieval solution that allows chemistry term information to be accessed without network connectivity.
Plugin Overview¶
This is a DSH plugin maintained by uckkk, classified as a memory-type tool. It includes built-in chemistry terminology data and is designed to address the lack of basic term definitions when agents process chemistry-related questions.
Core Features¶
This plugin provides the following two tool functions:
list_chemistry: Lists chemistry terminology knowledge entries. The returned results include each term’s name and its English equivalent.get_chemistry: Queries detailed information about a chemistry terminology entry by id or name.
Installation and Activation¶
Use the official installation command to load it:
dsh plugin add github:uckkk/dsh-chemistry-terms
After installation is complete, the tools registered by this plugin will be available in the current session.
Typical Usage¶
Directly call the tools described above in a conversation. For example, to view the list of available chemistry terms, call list_chemistry; if you need to query a specific term (such as “water”), call get_chemistry and pass the corresponding name or id.
Applicable Scenarios and Notes¶
- Applicable scenarios: Suitable for agent development scenarios that require local, offline chemistry terminology knowledge support.
- Implementation: Pure Node implementation with no network dependencies.
- License: MIT License.
Conclusion¶
dsh-chemistry-terms adds a lightweight chemistry knowledge base to the DSH plugin ecosystem. Through localized tool calls, it can reduce reliance on network requests. For more details, refer to the GitHub repository or the community directory.
