Introduction¶
When using DeepSeek Harness (DSH) for experiment configuration or agent development, determining the required sample size is a key step to ensure statistical validity. Manually calculating sample sizes is not only time-consuming but also error-prone. The dsh-ab-sample plugin provides a localized solution that completes precise calculations without network access.
Plugin Overview¶
The plugin provides the ab_sample tool for accurately calculating the sample size required for A/B tests and returning detailed results.
- Implementation: Pure Node.js implementation.
- Network dependencies: No network dependencies.
- License: MIT.
- Maintainer: istone.
Installation and Enablement¶
Run the following command in the terminal to install the plugin:
dsh plugin add github:uckkk/dsh-ab-sample
After installation, the tools registered by the plugin will be available in the session.
Core Feature¶
The core of the plugin is the ab_sample tool. It accepts parameters related to A/B testing and returns detailed sample size calculation results. Because it is implemented in pure Node.js, all calculations are performed locally and do not generate additional network requests.
Dependency Requirements¶
Using this plugin requires the following dependency versions:
@deepseek-ai/cordismust be at version^4.0.1or higher.@deepseek-ai/dsh-toolsmust be at version>=0.1.0-rc.6or higher.
Notes¶
- Runtime permissions: The plugin runs with the permissions of the current DSH process.
- Security: It is recommended to review the source code and license (MIT) before installation.
- Use cases: Suitable for developers who need quick statistical calculations.
