Installation and Enablement

Use the official installation command to add the plugin to the DSH Web configuration file:

Typical Usage

After installation, a 🔄 Restart button will appear in the lower-left corner of the chat input box. When you click the button, the following workflow is triggered:

  1. The button status changes to “Restarting…”.
  2. The Host side uses powershell.exe -WindowStyle Hidden to silently start the restart script.
  3. The DSH process is restarted, and the browser automatically disconnects and reconnects.
  4. No window is popped up throughout the process, achieving a seamless restart.

Applicable Scenarios and Notes

  • Applicable scenarios: Suitable for cases where the DSH process needs to be restarted frequently but you do not want to interrupt the development flow.
  • Permissions and security: The plugin runs with the permissions of the current DSH process. Please ensure that the script in the default restart script path has execution permissions.
  • Configuration: The default restart script path is restart-dsh.bat in the DSH deployment directory. You can modify the scriptPath configuration item via DSH settings.
