Introduction¶
The DeepSeek Harness (DSH) community advocates the philosophy of “everything is a plugin.” When developing or debugging agent sessions, developers often need to quickly review what happened in the session, which files were produced, and how many Tokens were consumed. Existing tools may lean toward real-time monitoring and lack a visual retrospective of the overall work. Below is an overview of dsh-office-suite, a plugin that folds session data into a standalone HTML dashboard.
Plugin Positioning¶
This is a DeepSeek Harness (DSH) plugin maintained by steven95. It folds “what the session did, what it produced, and how many tokens it spent” into an independently openable office-themed animated dashboard HTML. Unlike dsh-office (a real-time sprite office panel), this plugin focuses on session retrospective—at the end of a task, it can generate a visual work report with one click, including a work log, deliverables, token statistics, and office-scene animations.
Core Features¶
- Work log: Collapses turns, steps, user messages, tool calls, and assistant messages from the session event stream, including tool output files and token usage.
- Deliverables: Extracts successfully written file paths, deduplicates them while preserving order, and records occurrence counts.
- Token statistics: Includes output, input, cache read, cache write, and reasoning breakdowns, as well as turn, step, and tool call counts.
- Office animation: A self-contained HTML file that displays an AI assistant typing at a desk, thought bubbles, a moving clock, and animated data progress bars.
- Deliverable preview: Returns a content summary for text files, and returns file type and size for images, audio/video, and compressed files.
Installation and Activation¶
Install it using the official command:
dsh plugin add dsh-office-suite
For manual installation, add dsh-office-suite to dependencies and dsh.profile.bundles in the profile’s package.json, and ensure that cordis.patch.yml includes the following configuration:
- insert:
- id: office-suite
name: dsh-office-suite
inject: [tools]
This plugin depends on @deepseek-ai/cordis and @deepseek-ai/dsh-tools, and requires Node version >=18.
Typical Usage¶
In a session, ask the assistant to call the office_dashboard tool, or send the following natural language instruction directly:
生成办公室仪表盘,输出到 ~/Desktop
After execution, office-dashboard.html will be generated in the specified directory. Open it in a browser to view the animated dashboard.
If you need to view the log, deliverables, or token statistics, you can use the corresponding tools:
* office_log: Query the work log (with an adjustable limit)
* office_deliverables: Query the deliverables list
* office_tokens: Query token statistics
* office_preview: Preview deliverable files
Architecture and Implementation¶
The plugin entry point is located in index.js and includes the following modules:
* lib/log.js: Work log projection unit (event collapsing)
* lib/deliverables.js: Deliverable projection unit (file path extraction)
* lib/tokens.js: Token statistics projection unit (usage collapsing)
* lib/dashboard.js: Office-themed animated dashboard HTML generator (pure functions)
* lib/preview.js: Deliverable preview (pure functions)
* cordis.patch.yml: Bundle declaration
All business logic is implemented as pure functions, can be tested independently, and does not depend on the DSH runtime. Projection units are optionally injected via ctx.inject(['sessionProjections'], ...), so headless environments are unaffected.
Notes¶
The plugin runs with the privileges of the current DSH process. Please review the source code and license (MIT) before installation. This plugin is suitable for developers and teams that need to visually review sessions.
