DeepSeek Harness (DSH) implements feature extension through a plugin system. When building agent applications, configuring expert roles for different domains typically requires maintaining separate skill configurations or writing extensive model invocation logic. The upstream agency-agents-zh project provides 268 expert roles optimized for Chinese scenarios, covering 20 departments, but these resources have not yet been directly integrated into DSH’s skill registry. This plugin aims to solve this integration issue by packaging the upstream resources as a DSH bundle plugin, enabling these expert roles to be invoked as native dsh skills.

Installation and Activation

Before installation, ensure that git is installed (when installing dependencies via github:, pnpm invokes git to pull the repository).

Install the plugin using the official command:

After installation, dsh must be restarted for the plugin to take effect. After restarting, you can query the available skills to confirm that the expert roles have been registered.

Usage

After the plugin is installed, expert roles are present in the registry as native skills. Skill names follow the kebab-case naming convention, with the name derived from the file stem.

Manual Triggering

In a conversation, you can trigger a specific expert by directly entering a slash command:

  • /marketing-xiaohongshu-operator: Xiaohongshu operations expert
  • /engineering-security-engineer: security engineer

Automatic Matching

In a conversation, describe your needs, and the model will automatically match and load the corresponding expert role based on the expert’s description.

Configuration Filtering

By default, the plugin registers all 268 experts. If you want to reduce the number of registrations, you can add config filtering parameters to this loader entry in the profile’s cordis.patch.yml:

  • Whitelist and blacklist: all three are optional and can be combined. If nothing is configured, all are registered (backward compatible).
  • Type error handling: incorrect types in cordis.patch.yml cause dsh to report an error at startup.
  • Department mapping: the plugin includes a built-in mapping between department directory names and departments, enabling filtering.

Notes

  1. Git dependency: git must be installed to install the plugin using the github: method.
  2. Restart required: after installation, the dsh process must be restarted to load the newly registered skills.
  3. Copyright: the role content is owned by the upstream agency-agents and agency-agents-zh; this plugin only packages and distributes it.
  4. Error reporting: type spelling errors in the configuration file or nonexistent department names are rejected and a warning is issued.
