DeepSeek Harness allows parallel management of multiple sessions, but it is usually difficult to view the interaction history across all sessions—user messages, assistant replies, and tool calls—as a global overview. Existing interfaces are typically limited to the current session. The dsh-calendar plugin provides a root-scope calendar surface that aggregates interaction events from all sessions in Harness into a single view.

Plugin Positioning

  • Plugin name: dsh-calendar
  • Maintainer: necokeine
  • License: MIT
  • Core value: Provides a cross-session interaction event calendar for DeepSeek Harness, replacing the single view that only focuses on the current session.

Core Features

  1. Full-Harness View: Provides a unified calendar interface that displays interaction events from all sessions—user messages, assistant replies, tool calls, and turn boundaries—not just the current session.
  2. Real-Time Updates: Host-side pushes new events to open calendars immediately via an SSE channel as events are appended to the log.
  3. Historical Backfill: Prefills existing sessions on startup and best-effort loads persisted logs through sessionPersistence.
  4. Extensible Merging: For unknown (plugin-merged) event types, the plugin falls back to the type name; no per-type registry maintenance is required.
  5. Bounded Memory: Uses a rolling 90-day window strategy, with a cap of 2,000 events per day.

Installation and Enablement

The plugin only applies to the DeepSeek Harness web surface (dsh web).

The installation command is as follows:

dsh plugin --profile web add @necokeine/dsh-calendar

After installation, restart dsh web and refresh the page. A Calendar entry will appear at the bottom of the sidebar. This bundle contributes a uniquely named Loader row. The current version of @deepseek-ai/dsh-web-app components does not include a calendar row that needs to be disabled or replaced.

To remove it:

dsh plugin --profile web remove @necokeine/dsh-calendar

Typical Usage

  1. View the Global View: Click Calendar at the bottom of the sidebar to view the monthly view. Each day’s cell displays the number of active sessions on that day. Clicking a day lists all active sessions for that day with their titles, durations, and event counts. Expanding an entry shows the raw event list.
  2. Query JSON Data: Query daily session bucket data for a specified date range via the HTTP interface:
GET /calendar/events?from=2026-09-01&to=2026-09-18
  1. Receive Real-Time Stream: Receive real-time event frames via the SSE channel:
GET /calendar/stream

Notes

  1. pnpm Version Dependency: If you are using pnpm ≥ 10, building from a Git source version will be blocked unless you add the package to the allowBuilds list in the profile’s pnpm-workspace.yaml, and the checkout directory must generate a lib/ directory.
  2. No Impact on Model Interaction: The plugin only indexes persisted session events and exposes them to the web calendar UI. It does not change model input or KV-cache behavior, nor does it add tools or prompt sections.
  3. Plugin Compatibility: The installation process will not automatically override an existing calendar row. Confirm that the current UI components do not include a conflicting calendar component.

Summary

dsh-calendar addresses the difficulty Harness users face when quickly locating and reviewing interaction history while developing across multiple parallel sessions. Through a root-scope calendar surface and real-time SSE streams, it provides developers with a fact-first global view of interactions.
