Preface¶

In the DeepSeek Harness (DSH) ecosystem, plugins are responsible for extending core capabilities. For education scenarios, writing structured teaching outlines often takes a large amount of time. The dsh-lesson-outline plugin solves this problem through a logic tool.

What Is This¶

This is a teaching courseware outline generation tool plugin (DeepSeek Harness dsh-plugin). It is maintained by user mhtdm and belongs to the model reasoning category. It takes a topic, number of sections, and student level as input, and outputs structured courseware outline JSON.

Core Features¶

The plugin provides the lesson_outline tool.

Input parameters:
* topic: Topic
* sections: Number of sections (1-8, default is 3)
* level: Student level (beginner/intermediate/advanced, default is beginner)

The tool returns a normalized JSON structure, including the title, key points, duration, and teaching activity for each section. This plugin provides the model with a deterministic “courseware outline scaffold,” on which the model can expand the complete courseware content.

Installation and Activation¶

In the dsh environment, run the following command:

dsh plugin --profile <name> add dsh-lesson-outline

Or add the following to the profile’s cordis.patch.yml:

Applicable Scenarios and Notes¶

Suitable for scenarios that require quickly generating standardized teaching outlines. Because it is a pure logic implementation, it does not call external APIs and does not consume DSH tokens.
