DeepSeek Harness (DSH) adopts a plugin-based architecture, allowing users to extend functionality without modifying core code. In Web profile, managing Agent state and tracking workflow progress usually relies on built-in components. The agent-board plugin addresses the need for persistent management in the Web interface, providing views similar to native features.

What It Is

This is a third-party DSH plugin maintained by meisam2236. It provides a persistent Agent Board for DeepSeek Harness’s Web profile. Through this plugin, users can view and manage workspaces in the Web interface, with data structures and interaction logic consistent with the Agent Board built into Harness.

  • Workspace List: The sidebar lists all registered workspaces.

Installation and Activation

Before installation, make sure that the dsh CLI (@deepseek-ai/dsh) is installed and that a Web profile exists.

Installation Command

Install from GitHub:

dsh plugin --profile web add github:meisam2236/DeepSeek-Harness-Agent-Board

pnpm Version Notes

If you use pnpm >= 10, the prepare script for Git dependencies may be blocked. If installation fails, add the package name to ~/.dsh/profiles/web/pnpm-workspace.yaml:

Commit Locking

To ensure runtime environment stability, it is recommended to lock a specific commit (github:meisam2236/DeepSeek-Harness-Agent-Board#<sha>) during installation, preventing behavior inconsistencies caused by subsequent push changes.

Typical Usage

  1. Start Web profile: dsh --profile web.
  2. Find the Board button at the bottom of the sidebar (next to Settings).
  3. In the popup list, select a registered workspace to open Board for that workspace.

Development and Maintenance

Local development must be run alongside the repository:

pnpm install
pnpm run build

Important Notes:
* Do not copy back the source code of this plugin into the Harness tree.
* After installation, the plugin runs with the privileges of the current dsh process.
