Preface

When using DeepSeek Harness (DSH) to handle complex Agent workflows or long conversations, quickly locating historical query nodes often requires frequent scrolling, which is inefficient. dsh-turn-jump targets this scenario by providing a navigation solution on the right side of the Web interface, aiming to resolve the pain point of locating content in long conversations.

Plugin Introduction

This is a session turn quick jump and navigation plugin designed for the DSH Web console, maintained by developer liuGuanYi-hub. By default, it displays a minimal set of tick lines centered on the right side of the screen, supports mouse hover to view query summaries, and achieves millisecond-level smooth jumping by clicking.

Core Capabilities

  • ChatGPT-like minimalist tick lines: By default, displays refined thin horizontal lines centered on the right side of the screen, without displacing the conversation body or sidebar.
  • Smart query summary bubbles: When the mouse hovers over the tick bar, a card automatically appears, extracting in real time a summary of each user’s actual message.
  • Real-time viewport and scroll synchronization: As the user scrolls up and down, the currently viewed turn automatically becomes longer, bolder, and highlighted.
  • Running status breathing indicator: Turns in the generating/thinking state show an orange breathing indicator dot, making the status clear at a glance.
  • Millisecond-level smooth jumping: Click any tick line or bubble entry to smoothly scroll via scrollIntoView and precisely align to the first message of that turn.
  • Theme adaptation: Natively supports DSH light and dark themes.
  • Zero external runtime dependencies: Purely based on the standard Cordis framework suite and React client runtime, with a lightweight footprint.

Installation and Enablement

  1. Install the plugin in the DSH environment with the following command:
dsh plugin --profile web add github:liuGuanYi-hub/dsh-turn-jump
  1. Restart the DSH Web service for the changes to take effect:
    dsh --profile web

Technical Implementation

The plugin runs purely based on the standard Cordis framework suite and React client, without relying on any external runtime libraries. By registering a component in DSH’s shell.overlay slot, it remains decoupled from the main chat stream, ensuring stability under complex interactions.
