The core idea of DeepSeek Harness (DSH) is “everything is a plugin”. For developers, directly invoking the model often lacks a structured workflow. dsh-skills provides a set of ready-to-use methodologies and tool skills, covering the entire process from requirement exploration to documentation generation and official document processing.

Core Features

This skill set includes the following practical skills:

  1. Creativity and Design: The brainstorming skill handles requirement exploration and design processes before creative work.
  2. Session and Development Management: using-superpowers guides when to use the skill system; finishing-a-development-branch handles decisions after development, such as merging, creating a PR, or cleanup.
  3. Skill Writing and Maintenance: writing-skills is used for writing, editing, and validating new skills.
  4. Technical Documentation and Troubleshooting: github-actions-docs provides documentation-based guidance and troubleshooting for GitHub Actions.
  5. Internal Mechanism Analysis: how-it-works can explain internal mechanisms, such as how claude-mem works.
  6. Web Search: web-search searches through DuckDuckGo’s free endpoint, without requiring an API key.
  7. Chinese Official Document Processing: gongwen-skill supports the full workflow of Chinese official document processing, including GB/T 9704 checks, remediation, templates, and conversion.
  8. Presentation Generation: ppt-studio generates native .pptx presentations with one click, supporting dual engines for PPTD DSL and JSON.

Installation and Enablement

This plugin is a pure directory-based skill set and does not require a plugin framework.

git clone https://github.com/linhut/dsh-skills.git
# 方式 A:拷入全局技能目录
cp -r dsh-skills/skills/* ~/.dsh/skills/
# 方式 B:在 settings.yaml 中配置 customSkillDirs 指向 dsh-skills/skills

After installation, DSH displays skill names in the session directory. The model loads the skill body on demand through the built-in skill({ name }) tool.

Skill Structure

Each skill corresponds to a directory skills/<name>/ and contains a SKILL.md file.

The header of the SKILL.md file is Frontmatter, containing:
* name: The skill name, which must be kebab-case and match the directory name.
* description: A model-visible description used for triggering.
* disable-model-invocation: Optional; controls whether model invocation is disabled.
* user-invocable: Optional; controls whether users are allowed to invoke it manually.

Notes

Before use, check the source code and licenses to ensure compliance with project requirements. This skill set runs with the permissions of the current DSH process.

dsh-skills provides a set of standardized methodologies that can be integrated directly into the DSH workflow. For more details, refer to the project directory or the source repository.
