Introduction

DeepSeek Harness (DSH) uses a plugin-based architecture, allowing users to extend the features and appearance of the Web GUI through community plugins. For users accustomed to customizing interfaces, third-party plugins provide richer visual options beyond official themes. The dsh-fate-twin-contract plugin provided by Jayliu2025-vip is one such presentation-layer plugin. It provides the DSH Web GUI with a set of original Fate-inspired fan art visuals.

Plugin Positioning

This is an unofficial Fate-themed skin for the DSH Web GUI, featuring a dual-protagonist setting of Red A × Rin Tohsaka. All character backgrounds are project-generated original fan art, do not include official assets, and have no affiliation with the relevant rights holders.

Core Features

This plugin focuses on interface visual presentation and has the following features:
* Theme adaptation: Natively supports light, dark, and follow-system modes.
* Security: Runs entirely offline, does not read conversations, workspaces, or model configurations; does not modify theme preferences or local storage; does not initiate any network requests.
* Accessibility and responsiveness: Supports prefers-reduced-motion to reduce animations and forced-colors forced colors mode. On narrow screens and mobile devices, character background images are automatically hidden to prioritize content readability.

Installation and Activation

Run the following command to install the plugin:

dsh plugin --profile web add github:Jayliu2025-vip/dsh-fate-twin-contract

After installation, restart dsh web and refresh the browser page.
If your DSH environment requires manual integration, add the following entry to the Web GUI configuration:

- insert:
    - id: ui-skin-fate-twin-contract
      name: 'dsh-fate-twin-contract'

Uninstall

  1. Remove the above insert entry from the DSH configuration.
  2. Run the uninstall command:
dsh plugin --profile web remove dsh-fate-twin-contract
  1. Restart dsh web and refresh the page. If you are prompted that the plugin is missing after uninstalling, it means a stale cordis.patch.yml insert entry remains in the configuration and must be cleaned up manually.

Notes

  • Development environment: Contributing to the project requires Node.js 22 or higher.
  • Licensing scope: The code and CSS are released under the MIT License, but character artwork is not covered by the MIT license. Please read NOTICE.md before use.
  • Permission isolation: The plugin is presentation-only and does not modify any DSH data or configuration.

Conclusion

This plugin provides visual customization purely at the presentation layer without interfering with core logic. For more details, see its GitHub repository.
